3 cottages, now 2 . Early C19, 2 builds. Rubble, stone slate roof.
2 storeys. Cottage on right: probably the earlier of the 2, c1810-20.
2 bays, double range. Central Regency doorcase, with Tuscan columns on
bases, capitals with acanthus leaves on neck, plain entablature, cornice
and pediment, 6-panel door below fanlight with radial glazing bars.
Sash windows in plain ashlar surrounds. Shaped kneeler, ashlar coping
to right, end stacks. Rear: round-headed sash window with interlaced
glazing bars in ashlar surround with imposts and keystone. Cottage on
left, formerly 2, dated 1830: 3 bays. Ashlar surrounds with vertical
tooling to openings. Doorway between bays 1 and 2 with part-glazed C20
door. Doorway to right with plain surround on plinth blocks, on lintel
'EAK', board door. Sash windows except for C20 casement to ground floor
left. Shaped kneeler, ashlar coping to left, end stack left and ridge
stacks between bays 2 and 3.
