Inn. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Watershot masonry stone dressings, slate
roof. Central staircase plan. 3 storeys. 3 bays. Central entrance. Tuscan
pilasters segmental arched lintel, cornice; C20 glazed doors. 2 ground floor
windows and 3 windows each on first and second floors have plain surrounds projecting
sills and 16 pane sashes. Projecting quoins, eaves modillions, gable end coping
and gable end ridge stacks. Wing to right is Cl9 with C20 alterations. Slobbered
squared rubble, stone dressings, slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Left-hand entrance
has plain surround; 6 panel door. Left of centre ground floor window has plain
surround and 25 pane sashes. 2 small right-hand ground floor C2C windows have plain
surrounds and casements. 3 upper floor windows have plain surrounds: 2 left-hand
have 20 pane sashes, right-hand has 25 pane sashes. Right-hand kneeler and gable
end coping. Central ridge stack.
