Pair of cottages. Early C19. Squared sandstone, hammer-tooled to
front. Pantile roof. Lobby-entry plan, one and a half rooms deep.
2-storey, 2-window front. Central paired board doors. 16-pane sashes
with stone sills. Plain milled lintels to all openings. No I has a Sun
Insurance fire mark. Gable wall to right has a 9-pane sash over a
10-pane sash. To rear, the original door openings and a 2-light
horizontal sliding sash to extreme right remain. Coped gables with
moulded kneelers and end stacks to steeply-pitched roof. To Interior:
No 1 has exposed C19 grooved beams and boxed staircase.
