adjoining outhouse

House. Late C17-early C18 with C18 addition. Coursed gritstone, graduated
stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays, with 2-storey, 2-bay block at right
angles to left. Main block: quoins. Central C20, half-glazed door with
ogee-moulded lintel and effaced datestone to left. Flanking 4-light, now
2-light, double-chamfered mullion windows with sashes; a square sash far
right. First floor: two 4-light, now 2-light, double-chamfered mullion
windows with sashes. Stacks at left gable and centre. Lean-to addition to
rear. Left return: 2 small rectangular chamfered stone windows to ground
floor and one to first floor. A 3-light mullion window to right, first floor.
Block to left: quoins. Doorway with plain surround to right, 3-light, flat-
faced mullion window left. Small square window above door, stack in left
gable end.
