Pair of semi-detached houses. 1908. By Percy Houfton for the Brodsworth
Colliery Company. Roughcast, later cement-tile roof. 2 storeys, 1 : 2 : 1
windows to 1st floor: reflected pair. Wooden casements with glazing bars
throughout. No. 25 (on left) has old door flanked on left by a 3-light
window and on right by windows of 1 and 3 lights; 3-light windows to
1st floor, those to centre beneath a gable. Swept eaves. Dentilled brick
end stacks corbelled from the gables; matchings central ridge stack. Part of
the Woodlands colliery village (see under Church of All Saints, Central
Avenue).
