Pair of semi-detached houses. 1908. By Percy Houfton for the Brodsworth
Colliery Company. Roughcast brick, later cement-tile roof. Reflected pair;
2 storeys, 1 : 2 : 1 windows to lst floor. Wooden casements with glazing
bars throughout. No. 67 (on left) has boarded door with windows of 3 lights
on left and of 1 light and 3 lights on right; tile dripmoulds. No. 65 the
care but handed. lst floor: 3-light windows, those to centre paired and with
tile dripcourse beneath gable. Swept eaves. Corniced end stack on left
corbelled from gable; rebuilt central ridge stack, truncated end stack on
right. Rear: round-headed doorways and flanking 4-pane casements embraced
by tile hoodmoulds; circular casement to 1st floor. Part of Woodlands
Colliery village (see under Church of All Saints, Central Avenue).
