Summer house. Probably c.1775 (date of Netherton Hall q.v.). Deeply-coursed
ashlar front, dressed stone with quoins at rear. Stone slate roof. Single
storey. Symmetrical front of 3 bays. The central bay breaks forward
slightly and is pedimented. Central round-headed doorway with small flanking
lights. Small single light to each side, that to right altered to form a
doorway with an adjoining slender light. Raised sill band, flush impost
band. Moulded eaves cornice hipped roof. Rear: part-blocked doorway with
ovolo-moulded surround, probably re-set. Later door in left return.
Interior is brick lined.
