Church. 1881 by J. D. Sedding. Coursed squared rubble with ashlar quoins,
bands and dressings. Tiled roof. Nave and chancel in one with organ chamber
added to south. Small alternate windows: slender and square-headed with
relieving arch over, and slender lancets. On the south side the organ
chamber is integral with the open porch under a hipped, sprocketed roof. A
projection at the west end (for the baptistry) supports two buttresses which
support a bellcote. A small light between the buttresses and a slit window
to each side. At the east end a raised ashlar panel rises as 2 buttresses
with a square-headed window in an arched surround. A slit window to each
side and one in the apex.
Plain interior, the nave of 3 large bays with 4 collared trusses whose tie-
beams are arch-braced to wall posts which are, in turn, arch-braced to wall
plates in the farm of an arcade. Waggon roof to the 2-bay chancel. Font in
arched recess at west end.
