Garden building in form of small classical temple-like structure. Thought to
be early C19, possibly by Humphry Repton. Ashlar (clunch) facing, with
coursed ironstone exposed to rear elevation. Hipped slate roof. Small
rectangular structure open to W elevation. Virtually a Roman Doric portico,
distyle in antis. Entablature has triglyphs and guttae to frieze, and
modillion cornice. Stone paved floor approached by 3 steps. Rear angles have
clasping pilasters. Small rectangular paved area adjoins front of temple,
with remains of low balustrade along its western edge.
