Estate house. Mid C19 for Nelthorpe Estate; minor C20 additions to rear.
Brick with Welsh slate roof. T-shaped on plan: 2-room central entrance-hall
front with kitchen wing to rear. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows;
symmetrical. Projecting enclosed gabled porch has 4-centred arch entrance,
plain bargeboards with drop finial; inner panelled door and 4-pane overlight
in architrave. 2-light mullioned sash windows with glazing bars beneath
painted wooden hood-moulds. Overhanging eaves. Partly-projecting end
stacks with brick bands and twin diamond-shafted corniced chimneys.
