House. C16, altered in C18. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red
clay tiles. Main range of 3 bays facing NE, and 2-bay crosswing to right. C16
axial stack at the junction, and C18 internal stack in right wall of crosswing.
2 storeys. On ground floor, one early C19 sash of 16 lights and 2 C20
casements. On first floor, 3 C20 sashes and one C20 casement. 2 4-panel doors
with simple canopy over both. Both roofs hipped. The interior has jowled
posts, heavy studding, and chamfered beams. The roofs have been rebuilt with
ridges and hips in the C18. RCHM 14.
