Town house, now 2 houses. Possibly C17, refronted mid C19.
Painted rubble walls; steep asbestos slate roof. Single-depth
plan plus later extensions at rear. 2 storeys; 4-window range.
Late C19 horned sashes; tripartite sashes in wide openings on
right; pair of stuccoed pilastered doorways slightly right of
centre with consoles and bracketed cornices; C20 part-glazed
doors. INTERIOR of No.30 has C18 bowtell-moulded ceiling
beams; L-plan staircase with turned balusters and pegged roof
structure. Original lateral fireplace structure removed and at
some time front window openings altered as shown by evidence
of straight joints at either side of wide windows.
