Circa 1835 by Joseph Kay. Detached villa. A romantic design in the style of Nash's
Park Village. White painted stucco. Slate hipped roof with wide bracketed eaves.
Stringcourse and corner pilasters. 2 storeys. 3 bays wide. South-west front
has central canted bay: ground floor French windows: 1st floor recessed to allow
balcony round bay window with balustrade. All casements or French windows with
original glazing bars and Venetian shutters. A square tower with 3 arched windows
and chimneys rising at corners surmounts the roof. Including garden retaining
wall to west (garden and house built above road level), coursed stone, with moulded
course at garden level, rounded stone coping.
