Cottage. Early and later C18. Restored mid-late C20. Timber frame in
origin repaired in brick with rebuilt gable end to road also brick, now
painted. Long straw thatch, half-hipped end to road. Originally of three
bay, lobby entry type with gable end to road. One storey and attic. Two
dormers. Fenestration and doors including one to the lobby entry are all
C20. Cottage extended by one bay in late C18. Brick with tumbled parapet
gable end with end stack. One storey and attic. Inside. Some inserted
timbers but original pegholes visible in rear wall plate. Included for group
value.
