Cottage. 1764 (dated stone) extended C19. Gault brick, English bond, front
wall rendered, with steeply pitched reed thatch roof. Tumbled gable end
parapets on kneelers and rebuilt end stacks. L-plan. One storey and attic.
Two dormers. Two C20 canted bays on either side of original doorway opening,
but C20 door. Date 1764 on stone panel to gable end. Kitchen extended in
C19 and roof raised. Brick, English bond. Six raised and fielded panelled
front door now reset in rear. Inside: Early C19 open-string staircase with
square section balusters and scroll tread ends. At first floor vertical
panelling with raised panels, to partition walls. Early C19 white marble
fireplace at ground floor.
