Farmhouse with attached barn. Early C17 with late C17 addition
and C19 alterations. Coursed rubble with stone dressings to
windows and gabled stone slate roof with 3 stone stacks and 1 end
stone stack with brick cap. T-shaped plan with core range at
right-angles to road and later wing parallel with barn to left.
South front of 4 elements: gable end of core range to right, main
2-storey, 3-window block to centre, gabled 2-storey, 1-window range
to left and barn further to left. Windows to main block are 2-
light small pane C19 casements set in C17 openings with hoodmoulds;
gable end to right has a single light C17 window with hoodmould;
gabled section to left has a 3-light casement to ground floor and a
3-light chamfered mullion above with hoodmould. Central gabled
porch on brick piers and ovolo-moulded architrave to doorway:
plank door. Further chamfered mullions to east front and rear.
Interior. Large inglenook fireplace in ground floor room to right
and dog-legged staircase with turned balusters.
