Keeper's lodge, now 2 private houses. c1830 for Lord Barnard.
Coursed rubble with pecked quoins; roof has renewed stone
flags with stone ridge and stone chimneys. Tudor style. One
storey; 3-window range. Entrance to No.1 in central porch on
east elevation, to No.2 in porch added to rear at left. East
elevation has stopped label mould over stone surround with
hollow reveals to diagonally boarded door; 2 windows have
renewed sashes in stone surrounds under label moulds and eaves
band. Hipped roof of porch abuts hipped roof of cottage, both
with swept eaves. 2 corniced ridge chimneys. Left return
facing river has 2-light stone-mullioned windows with plain
renewed sashes, in chamfered stone surrounds under stopped
label moulds. Right return has offshut with new opening for
door of No.1, and 2 windows with flat stone lintels and
projecting stone sills.
