Town house, now commercial premises. Late C18 or early C19.
Stucco on studwork front, dry Delabole slate roof with hip of
taller rear wing, left of centre, and brick end stacks.
Ground-floor plan altered to create shop but still providing
through-passage to Roberts Ope on right. 2 storeys; 4-window
front has C20 plate glass to older shopfront with pilasters
and Doric entablature with triglyphs; above are rusticated
quoins, moulded architraves, moulded sill string and moulded
eaves cornice. Windows have moulded hoods over consoles,
pediments to 1st floor and sashes without glazing bars; circa
early C19 twelve-pane hornless sashes to 2nd floor. INTERIOR:
altered C20 to ground floor, otherwise not inspected.
