Two adjoining shops with accommodation over. Early C19. Stucco
on studwork; asbestos slate roofs; cast-iron ogee gutters.
Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. No.9 has late
C19 shop front with slender Ionic columns flanking a doorway
with bowed sidelights; moulded entablature with fascia. C20
windows above within original keyed stucco architraves. No.8
has C20 Edwardian-style shop front with doorway on its left. 3
rusticated pilasters; key-pattern band between 1st and 2nd
floor, moulded eaves cornices. Late C19 or early C20
tripartite sashes in moulded wood architraves. INTERIORS not
inspected.
