Former Ticket Office at Hove Railway
Station

GV II

Ticket office, now offices. Late C19. Timber-framed, boarded
as rustication on rendered plinth, hipped slate roof,
bracketed cornice, 2 tall roughcast chimneystacks with moulded
coping. Plan: 2-cell, entrance on north front. Single storey,
3 bay north elevation, sash windows without glazing bars in
moulded surrounds, double doors with ticket guichet,
rectangular fanlight. 2-bay right return with similar
fenestration. The former ticket office for passengers using
the north exit from Hove railway station via the pedestrian
bridge, and contemporary with it.
Unaltered externally, it forms part of a good group with Hove
Railway Staion and footbridge (qv).
