Two houses, perhaps built as one. C14 core with alterations of C19 and
earlier. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and roughcast. Pantiled roof with axial
C19 chimney of red brick. No.10 has a C19 small-pane sash at ground storey
and a pair of small-pane casements at 1st storey. No.8 has various C19 and
C20 casements. No.8 has a C19 panelled door with glazed panel. No.8 has a
coupled rafter roof; long splayed and undersquinted scarf joints of c.1400 or
earlier. An unusually narrow example of a mediaeval 2-storey building, and of
uncertain original purpose.
