House, early or mid C16 with alterations of C18 and C19. 2 storeys, 3
windows. Timber-framed and plastered with C18/C19 roughcast panels with broad
borders. The building was formerly long-wall jettied towards the street.
Concrete plaintiled roof; a massive C17 rear chimney of red brick. Late C18
or early C19 small-pane sashes. C20 glazed panelled door in C19 doorway.
Some arch-braced studwork exposed at 1st storey. Fragmentary coupled-rafter
roof. A ground storey room has C18 moulding applied to original ceiling
beams.
