Shuttleworth estate house. Plaque shows 1878 and Shuttleworth emblem.
Mottled yellow brick with red brick dressings. Clay tile roof, with bands of
fishscale tiles. Cottage ornee details. L-plan, one storey and attics. S
elevation: ground floor has 2 3-light and one 2-light casements, all under
cambered heads.Attic has 3 gabled dormers with 2-light casements. All cast
iron lattice windows. Doorway between 2 RH bays has tiled sloping hood on
curved timber braces, and C20 glazed door. Red brick bands at ground floor
sill and head level. Wavy-edged ridge cresting to dormers. 2 brick ridge
stacks with Tudor style chimney pots. Other elevations in similar style.
