Lodge cottage at NW side of Southill Park. Early C19 in cottage ornee style.
Partly of colourwashed brick, partly of colourwashed roughcast (possibly over
timber frame). Fishscale tile roof. 2-room plan with semi-octagonal ends.
One storey and attics. To W, S and E elevations walls are recessed to form
continuous verandah supported on rustic timbers. To N end walls are in line
with eaves. All windows have semi-circular heads and leaded casements. 2 box
dormers with similar windows. Round-headed doorways, one to N end, one to it
elevation. Red brick ridge stack with pair of diagonal flues. Lean-to
addition to rear.
