Estate cottage. Plaque: "S W 1775. Restored W H W 1860" (S W is Samuel
Whitbread). Red brick building with clay tile roof which has bands of
fishscale tiles. 2-room plan, one storey and attics. Ground floor has 2 2-
light cast iron lattice casements under cambered heads. Attic has 2 gabled
dormers with similar windows and with pierced bargeboards. Central gabled
brick porch with 4-centred arched heads to entrance and side windows. Plank
door. Yellow brick moulded cornices to house and porch. 2 integral red brick
gable and stacks with decorative mouldings and band of yellow bricks to
cornice. Yellow brick outbuilding to RH gable end.
