TL 14 NW OLD WARDEN

3/112 Sweetbrier Farmhouse

House. C17, probably refronted C18. Colourwashed roughcast over timber
frame. Clay tile roof, hipped to S and E corners. U-plan, front block of 2
storeys, cross-wings of 2 storeys and attics. SE elevation has 3 3-light
casement windows with glazing bars to each floor. Entrance, between 2 RH
bays, has flat hood on cut brackets, and C20 door. Moulded wood eaves
cornice. 2 red brick ridge stacks, LH one substantial with rebuilt top.
Other elevations have mostly C20 casements with glazing bars.
