House formerly a farmhouse. C17 with early and late C19 alterations and
additions. Coursed limestone rubble with freestone and ashlar dressings.
Collyweston stone slated roofs. Two storeys with attics, original L-plan
extended to west by one bay and to south by an additional kitchen. C19
entrance in angle facing east. North facade; brick and ashlar end stacks and
ridge stack, chamfered copings to parapet gables, chamfered plinth. One
French casement window, double hung sash window and canted bay window; three
first floor three-light C20 casement windows. Interior: Exposed chamfered
and stopped ceiling beams, C19 alteration of original plan and staircase. C17
moulded boarded doors with applied frames to imitate two-panelled early C19
doors. The house was formerly the Miller's house. Included for group value.
