House. Late C17, altered late C18, refenestrated mid C20.
Rendered limestone rubble with brick gable stacks and stone
slate roof. 2-room parallel plan.
2 storeys; 2-window range. A symmetrical front has a 6-panel
door with canopy on iron brackets, and C20 plate-glass
windows. The rear has a late C18 canted ground-floor bay with
reeded architraves and 6/6-pane sashes, formerly with a second
one to the left.
INTERIOR: altered mid C20, details include a wide winder stair
set in a curved recess to the rear of a left-hand fireplace;
the roof extends over 1 bay of the roof of No.87A (qv),
including a truss with cut tie beam, pegged collar and butt
purlins, the rest largely rebuilt C19.
