House. Late C17/early C18, altered late C19 and extended to
rear mid C20. Rendered limestone rubble with brick gable stack
and interlocking tile roof. 2-room parallel plan.
2 storeys; 2-window range. A left-of-centre doorway has a mid
C20 door, with late C19 casements of 2 lights, with a
right-hand ground-floor 3-light casement.
INTERIOR: details include a right-hand fireplace with
chamfered bressumer and left-hand chamfered reveal, with a
timber winder stair to the rear. Roof rebuilt C19 with a yoked
ridge and butt purlins.
Included for the contribution it makes to a good group of
listed buildings in Gloucester Road.
