Stables, coach house and enclosing walls to east. probably c1860. Coursed
sandstone, dressed sandstone, stone slate roof. Longitudinal 5-bay plan
aligned north/south with projecting end gables facing east. Two storeys.
East elevation: 4-centred arch with ledged doors to coach house to left
hand gable, single light decoratively patterned leaded window, ledged door
with vertical fillets, 2-light window with iron bar, central door under 4-
centred head, 2-light window with iron casements, door with unequal leaves
(of about one third: two thirds), blind 4-centred arch (corresponding to
coach house entry) to right hand gable. First floor has 2-light window
beneath label in left hand gable, 2-light decoratively leaded metal casements
left of centre, loft door with fillets above central door, another 2-light
leaded window and 2 more beneath right hand gable. Centre has corbelled
gabled bell turret over eaves with cinquefoil decoration and bell in situ.
Gables have decorative bargeboards with moulded finials and pendants to
gables. Raised shields in blind circular oculi to upper part of each gable.
Interior: 3 loose boxes with oak doors and iron bars to centre part of
building.
