House. Early C19, extended later C19. Painted stone rubble with dressed stone quioins. Concrete tile roof with gabled ends. Stone central axial stack, rebuilt at top in brick; brick gable-end stack to later range. PLAN: Original house, 2-room plan with lobby entrance in front of central axial stack with back-to-back fireplaces. Later C19 rear outshut, and parallel range at rear projecting at south end, possibly added as separate cottage, but now one house. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay east front, centre first floor blind; windows and doorway have 4-centred arches, the 2-light windows with iron casements and Y-bars. The doorway has flush-panel double doors and similar Gothick fanlight with Y-bars. Later range set back on left has similar Gothick window on first floor, and below, a casement with cambered arch and French casement to right. Rear [W], main roof is carried down as catslide over outshut and 2-storey gable-ended parallel range to right. INTERIOR not inspected.
