Barn incorporating cow house. Probably C17. Timber-frame, weatherboards,
coursed rubble, woven lath panels, corrugated iron roofs. Seven bays aligned
north/south, one lean-to extension to south and a second enveloping north end
and east side of 2 north bays; 3 south bays comprise cow house under tollet.
East elevation: 3 panels of woven oak laths between rubble base and wall-plate;
2 panels to contemporary north-east extension; full-height ledged doors to
third bay from north; 3 evenly spaced lateral doorways to cow house in southern
part. Interior: raking strut and queen strut trusses; half raking strut trusses
to north east extension. An exceptionally large barn and cow house that retains
virtually all the features (except the roof covering) with which it was designed.
