C18. Originally one house, Nos 35 and 35A being extension to left with
stable entry on ground floor. Division of main block now marked by painted
stone quoins to left of centre. 3 storeys red brick on projecting plinth
with splayed stone capping. Stone quoins. Stone band at lst floor level.
Moulded stone cornice. Hipped stone tile roof. Main block: 2 coupled and
central single windows, all with stone architrave surrounds and cills on
2nd floor. 2 Palladian windows, stone piers and entablature, architrave
and keystone to head of centre light, flanking central single window with
stone architrave surround, and cill, frieze and cornice on lst floor. 2
coupled windows with stone architrave surrounds and cills on ground floor,
and 6-panel central door, top panels glazed, in surround of stone architrave
with plain outer surround, cornice and pediment on carved scroll brackets.
Glazing altered. Good contemporary stair with turned balusters and moulded
handrail. Link extension left hand, former stable entry on ground level
now Nos 35 and 35A. 3-storey, same general design, one coupled window
to upper part. Former 3-centred arched yard entry with raised springers
and keystone, now filled in With pair of early Cl9 6-panel doors, arched
radiating fanlights.

Nos 31 to 42 (consec) forms a group.
