C18. 3 storeys. Brick on projecting plinth with moulded stone capping.
Moulded stone cornice and blocking course. Slate roof. 3 square 2-light
casements with stone architrave surrounds on 2nd floor. 2 Palladian windows
on lst floor with Doric pilasters and entablature with convex frieze, architrave
and keystone to centre light, flanking central single window with stone
architrave surround, frieze and cornice, All with stone cills. 2 double
windows on ground floor with stone cills and architrave surrounds, and 6-panel
central door good mask and wreath knocker, in moulded stone surround, and
stone doorcase of engaged Doric columns, entablature and pediment. 2 stone
steps. 3-storey extension right hand, one window to upper part and 3-centred
arched stable entry on ground floor, block imposts and keystone. Glazing
altered. Possibly older house refronted. Georgian staircase with turned
balusters moulded handrail and scrolled newel.
Nos 31 to 42 (consec) form a group.
