(off south side), Skelton

3/56 Well head, approximately
20m. south of
Trout Hall Farmhouse.

G.V. II

Well head in garden of farmhouse, c. 1800. Sandstone ashlar.
Semicircular-headed niche with keystone; and ramped, projecting side walls
on east side, flanking 4 steps down to water's edge. Watershot in rear of
niche feeds spring water into well.
