Cottage, late C18. Dressed sandstone. Clay pantile roof with stone ridge and
gable copings, block kneelers and end stacks, that to right reduced. 2
storeys, 2 windows. Entered from rear. Renewed sashes with leaded lights and
keyed lintels. Renewed painted sundial, dated 1787, between first-floor
windows. Interior retains original beamed ceilings on ground floor, and dogleg
staircase with turned balusters. Single-storey wing adjoining right and pent
extension at rear, are not of interest.
