Farmhouse, late C18, with early/mid C19 right extension. Dressed sandstone.
Mid C20 concrete tiled roof with stone ridge and gable copings and moulded
kneelers at left end; 2 reduced ridge stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3
windows to principal (south) front. Entered from right extension. Early
C19 sashes with glazing bars and stone sills. Gabled full dormer with sash
window above right-hand bay. Right extension 2 storeys with basement and
attic; 2 windows. 6-panelled door and overlight with glazing bars, in
left-hand bay. Sash windows with glazing bars, those to right renewed.
Hipped roof at right end. 2-window right return with similar windows;
basement window to left. Flat-roofed dormer. Lower 2-storey rear
extension.Interior of farmhouse retains original panelled doors and window
shutters. Right extension has moulded ceiling cornices on ground floor,
panelled window shutters and staircase with ramped handrail, stick balusters
and shaped tread-ends.
