House and barn. Late C17 house, barn possibly contemporary but altered C19.
Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 2-storey, 3-bay
house; 3-bay barn. House: quoins; 4-panel door in quoined surround with
chamfer stepped across the lintel. Recessed-chamfered mullion windows
throughout; of 5 lights (centre) with king mullions and 4 lights to ground
floor under continuous hoodmould. First floor, left to right: of 3 lights,
one mullion removed; of 4 lights with 2 mullions removed; and of 2 lights.
Bulbous kneeler and gable coping to right; end stacks. Barn: quoins to
left. Cart entrance with double board doors and wooden lintel; byre door to
left, square opening under eaves left. Interiors not inspected.
