House. Dated 1769. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof.
2 storeys with attic and cellars beneath south end; direct-entry plan, one
room deep. Plinth and quoins. Main facade away from road, facing south-
east: central C20 panelled door in projecting keyed surround. Flanking it
on each floor are 3-light flat-faced mullion windows, mullions recessed,
each with one mullion removed, and projecting sill bands. Stone plaque in
stone surround first floor centre, has inscription ' B '. Shaped stone

gutter brackets, shaped kneeler, gable coping, end stacks. Right return:
attic storey lit by Venetian window. Interior: a stone newel stair built
into the centre of the rear wall. Cellar contains a covered well under the
stone stairs. Roof structure: 3 raised cruck trusses with through purlins
and collar supporting king post and ridge purlin.
