Game Larder. Circa early-mid C19. Flemish bond red brick. Steeply-pitched
thatched conical roof.
Small octagonal plan single cell building.
1 storey. Window on alternate sides of octagon with flat brick arch with keystone
and 2-light casement with diamond leaded panes. Doorway on south side with similar
arch and half-glazed door with glazing bars and ogee top panes (replaces former
plank door).
Interior: Plastered walls andcoved ceiling with hoist at apex.
Note: The game larder may have been built in circa 1840 when Home Farmhouse (qv) was
remodelled and extended.
