Staddle barn. Probably early C19. Timber-framed, now clad with corrugated iron;
concrete tiles half-hipped roof. Central wagon cross-passage entered through
double gates (surviving to N.E. with 3 pairs of L-hinges) allowing access to raised
platforms to either side. With the exception of the roof material, the structure
survives intact; original timber board cladding ; framing with straight angle
braces ; roof with principals, collars and ties. It rests on 18 mushroom-shaped
staddle stones.
