6/14 School Cottage

GV II

House. Late C18-early C19 with c.1980 addition. Pinkish brick in irregular
Flemish bond; pantile roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays with c.1980 bay added to left.
Orginal house: central C20 door of 6 fielded panels with shallow overlight.
Windows are 20-pane sashes in flush wood architraves. Door and ground-floor
windows have gauged red-brick flat arches. lst-floor band band of 3 stepped
courses. Tabled dentilled eaves. Tabled end stacks, that to right heightened,
that to left rebuilt. Added bay, separated by narrow full-height recess, is in
same style with similar c.1980 windows.
