6/16 Blue Stone Cottage

GV II

House. 2nd half C18 with later C20 alterations. Mottled pink brick in Flemish
bond; pantile roof. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays. Plinth. Central C20 6-panel
door in C20 hooded wooden architrave. Flanking windows on each floor are C20
small-pane casements, those on ground floor under elliptical, header-brick
arches; a 4-pane side-sliding sash above door. Tabled eaves with brick-on-side
dentils. Raised brick verges with tumbled-in brickwork and tabled end stacks.
Left return: small-pane side-sliding sashes, and one to attic.
