3 house, now warehouses and workshops. c1800 and early C19,
altered mid C19. Red brick, with slate roofs and 2 brick gable
stacks.
3 storeys; 1:4 windows. To left, taller block, early C19,
single bay. Rendered plinth and wooden gutter. Ground floor
has to right a plain door with steps, and to left a C19
segment-arched double door with overlight. Above, on each
floor, a large segment-headed glazing bar sash.
Block to right c1800 has rendered plinth and wooden eaves.
Blocked doorway flanked by wide segment-headed glazing bar
sashes, reglazed mid C19. Above, 4 original segment-headed
glazing bar sashes, and above again, 4 smaller sashes with
flat heads.
This building demonstrates the evolution of the Lace Market
area from residential to commercial use.
