House, dated 1709 with C20 alterations. Slobbered squared rubble, painted stone
dressings, stone slate roof. 3 cell plan. Gable end to street. Entrance front:
2 storeys, 3 bays. Right of centre entrance in gabled porch; moulded entrance
surround and decorated lintel inscribed: IT 1709, C20 plank door. Left-hand
ground floor 3-light double chamfered mullioned window, straight joint possibly
indicating blocked entrance, 2-light double chamfered mullioned stair window
immediately to left of porch. Right-hand ground floor 3-light double chamfered
mullioned window and 2 similar windows to upper floor; 2 pane casements and
fixed lights except stair window which has leaded fixed lights. Right-hand
gable end ridge and left-hand ridge stack at former left-hand gable, now at
junction with former barn, part of which is now an extension to house.
