House. Mid- to late-C17, with C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone
dressings, c1985 asbestos slate roof. 2 cell plan with C19 former barn, now
extension, to west. Rear to street: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance left of centre,
c1970 door. Flanking ground floor and upper floor windows are 3-light double
chamfered cavetto mullioned, C20 casements. Right-hand ground floor round headed
fire window. Central upper floor chamfered window, probably originally 2-lights,
mullion now missing and sill lowered; sashes with glazing bars. Right-hand
corbelled gable end stack, left-hand round stack at former lefthand gable, now
at junction with extension. Interior: right-hand room contains late C18/early
C19 fireplace with corbelled jambs, left-hand spice cupboard. Cupboard in north
wall apparently hides blocked fire window. Queen strut roof truss.
