Late C18. 3 storeys Bath stone on projecting plinth. 1st and 2nd floor sill
courses and moulded eaves cornice. Gable end C19 tiled roof with ridge tiles.
2 recessed sash windows on 2nd floor glazing bars intact. On 1st floor to
left a round headed window with radiating and wreathed glazing to head, and
to right a tripartite window, glazing bars intact. The ground floor has similar
tripartite sash window and to left a recessed door of 8 fielded panels, 2
glazed, with a semi-circular fanlight of radiating and wreathed pattern in
architrave surround with flat moulded stone cornice hood on long carved scroll
brackets.
Nos 23 to 41 (consec) and the part of the National Westminster Old Bank in
Market Place form a very fine group.
