Early C19 front. 3 storeys painted stucco with moulded coping. Gable end
slate roof. 2 sash windows to upper floors, glazing bars intact, in flush
architrave frames. Plain projecting early Cl9 shop front with original, partly
glazed, central door framed by narrow moulded pilasters, lion head ornament
to caps and reeded head, rectangular fanlight over. The shop windows have
plate glass but retain frieze and cornice over.
Nos 23 to 41 (consec) and the part of the National Westminster Old Bank in
Market Place form a very fine group.
