One block. Probably C17, refronted late Cl8. 3 storeys. Ground floor stucco
with incised lines on projecting plinth. Timber-framed upper part pebble-dashed,
oversailing ground floor with moulded string across boxed beam ends supported
at corners by double scroll cut brackets. Cement string over lst floor windows.
Moulded cornice, lead gutter and slate roof. 6 windows, architrave frames,
to upper floors. On ground floor from left hand - 6-panel door, flush type,
to No 33, with rectangular fanlight of crossed diagonals - 4-panel double
door, upper part glazed, with similar fanlight - 3 windows, 4 panes wide in
moulded frames and grouped together - 6-panel door. No 34, with similar fanlight.
Interior may be of interest.
Nos 23 to 41 (consec) and the part of the National Westminster Old Bank in Market
Place form a very fine group.
