House. Mid C17, mid C18 and late C19. Timber framing and brick,
with patterened plain tile roofs. First and second floor and
gable bands. 2 ridge, single gable and single side wall stacks.
2 and 3 storeys, 3 bays. L-plan. Windows are mainly C20
casements. East side has to left, blocked door, and to its
right, 2 casements in blocked doors. To right again, a larger
casement. Wing to right has a casement and a sash. In return
angle, a Gothick door and a casement. Lean-to addition to right
has a similar door in return angle. Above, to left, bargeboarded
gabled dormer on bracket, with 2 latticed casements. To its
right, a casement. Wing has to right, a sash. Above again, to
left, C19 Go thick casement. Rear elevation has to left, wing
with casement and French window. To right door with segmental
head and beyond, latticed casement. Beyond, a casement. To
right again, late C20 gabled addition with a casement. Above, a
casement. To its right, cross eaves gabled dormer. Beyond, a
small casement. Above again, to left, a casement. Interior has
remains of 2 bays of timber framing with 4 posts, one of them
jowled. Principal rafter roof with crossed ridge and ridge
piece. Single purlins with wind braces. Span beam with ogee
stops. Tudor arched C19 fireplace opening flanked by single
matching recesses. 3 C19 grates. 2 C18 plank doors.
